Cookies Policy

Overview
This Cookies Policy explains how X078 (x078.com) uses — or does not use — cookies and similar technologies. Our core principle is minimal necessary privacy: we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) may perform comparable functions.
2. Cookies We Use
X078 exclusively uses strictly necessary cookies for the terminal to function:
- Language preference: We store your language preference (EN/PT) locally to avoid unnecessary redirects on future visits.
- Security session: Temporary session cookies to protect forms against abusive automated submissions. These are deleted when you close the browser.
We do not use tracking, advertising, or user-profiling cookies.
3. Third-Party Services and Analytics
- Umami Analytics (cookie-free): To analyse site traffic, we use Umami Analytics, a self-hosted solution that is completely cookie-free. Umami identifies unique visitors through an anonymous daily hash (IP + user agent + rotating salt), without creating any cookie on your device. Your consent is not required for this tool under GDPR.
- Google Search Console: We use Google Search Console to monitor the site's visibility in Google Search results. This tool does not place cookies in your browser — it operates exclusively at the level of Google's indexing infrastructure.
- Cloudflare CDN: The site is served through the Cloudflare network. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical security cookies (e.g.,
__cf_bm) for bot protection. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
4. Managing Cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Since we do not use tracking or advertising cookies, there is no cookie consent banner on this site. If you block all cookies, the terminal's functionality may only be affected at the level of language preferences.
